Chris Harclerode, LUTCFMessage From the President
Chris Harclerode, LUTCF

Our 2008-2009 year is almost over. I really enjoyed being your President for this year. In May we will be having our election of officers at our monthly luncheon. I really want to thank our executive officers, Joe Maltese, Robin Wahby, and Chris Veenstra. They are great leaders and have a bright future in this industry. I also want to thank our board members for their efforts for this year. We have made many changes to improve our operations of our association. Cherri, our Association Executive, has done a great job in making sure this association runs smoothly. But our work is not done, we need more people to run for the board or volunteer to be on one of our committees with a variety of interests. Please consider spending a few hours a month to help our local association.

Million Dollar Round TableWe will be honoring the MDRT qualifiers in this area for 2008 and 2009 at May’s luncheon. The main speaker at the luncheon will be Lou Shuntich, Advanced Planning Attorney from Lincoln Benefit Life. I encourage you to attend in order to help honor all the MDRT qualifiers and listen to Lou on Business Succession Planning. You will get some great sales ideas.

I always like to close by mentioning membership. Membership is crucial for the success of our Association. Please, if you know someone who is benefiting from our industry but is not a member, encourage them to join. They are benefiting from our efforts without paying their membership dues. It only costs about 1 dollar a day...

Best Regards,

Chris

New NAIFA Sales SystemMEMBER BENEFITS:
Achieve Professional Sales Growth
with the New NAIFA Sales System

What separates one sales person from another? Why does one succeed and another struggle? The ability to successfully sell is not only the result of knowledge or sales skills—rather it is a matter of internal beliefs that drive unconscious behavior.

The New NAIFA Sales System – the latest addition to the NAIFA Professional Development System – is designed to help you increase sales by following a proven sales process presented in 12 online modules. The system uses Fundamentals of Integrity Selling®, based on the concepts found in the book Integrity Selling for the 21st Century by Ron Willingham, founder of Integrity Systems, an international leader in sales and customer service training and development with more than 2,000 client companies.

Robert A. Arzt, CLU, ChFC, LLIFThe NAIFA Sales System online modules are supported by eight live telecoaching sessions led by experienced sales coach Robert A. Arzt, CLU, ChFC, LLIF, founder of Insurance Coach U™.

The NAIFA Sales System is designed to:
• Help you increase sales, because it encourages behavioral change.
• Challenge your belief system of what you are capable of achieving.
• Challenge the way you relate to and interact with your clients and prospects.
• Help you develop customer-focused behaviors.

Who should participate?
• Agents and advisors who are new to the business.
• Agents and advisors with a great deal of experience who want to bring their business to the next level.
• Agents and advisors who feel that their business has become stale and want to get themselves back on track.

What is the cost of the program?
The online program with coaching support package is a unique NAIFA member benefit and value-priced for NAIFA members at $650. (Non-member price is $1,050).

“Whether you are an agent or advisor who is new to the business, has a great deal of experience but wants to bring your business to the next level, or who feels that your business has become stale and wants to get yourself back on track, this program is designed to help you take your practice to the next level.” — Bob Arzt

To learn more about the program, visit www.regonline.com/naifasalessystem or contact Diane Powers, NAIFA Vice President for Professional Development and Education at (703) 770-8226, or Bob Arzt, CEO of Insurance Coach U, at (301) 610-5624.
